Event Description:
We are delighted to have Dr. Douglas E. Padgett, Chief of Adult Reconstruction
and Joint Replacement at Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, as this
year’s Hoag Orthopedics Distinguished Visiting Professor. Join us
as our graduating fellows deliver special case reviews and presentations
on their work and research investigations to their peers, attending surgeons,
and our guest speaker. Dr. Padgett will also deliver a presentation of
his own on, “The Effect of Lumbosacral Kinematics Upon Instability
After Total Hip Arthroplasty”. This symposium will be held at Hoag
Orthopedic Institute, at 16250 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine, Ca 92618, in
the Allan and Sandy Fainbarg Community Education Center. Sign in will
begin at 6:30am, with breakfast available. The program will conclude at
approximately 10:00am.
